ABOUT Legacy Films
Legacy Films was founded July 4th 2025, but the story goes back way before that.

When I was 10 years old I lived across the street from an independent living community. I was always outside being active, and I loved roller skating. Well the independent facility had the best sidewalks around. I spent hours skating on their sidewalks. I don't even know how it started, but I was always a curious child. (and I you ask my husband, it followed me into adulthood) Well one day I wondered into their activities center. I started hanging out with the residents, doing puzzles with them and talking for hours. Several of the residents even became my honorary grandparents. They would feed me, do crafts with me. My mom was a single mom and worked a lot, and they were a support system to help. At the time without even knowing the impact it would eventually make in my life. It made me crave the connection that I seek in the stories we tell today.
Some of the best stories will never be captured via video, but I will always have them in my heart.

When I was 17 years old, still in high school, I worked at a nursing home as a CNA in the memory care wing. Working there made such an impact on me. It drove my compassion to care even stronger. My compassion to get the stories out before they're forgotten, or before they're no longer here to tell the stories.

When I was 17 I didn't know that one day God would put me on a path to find my husband, who is an amazing film maker, and give me the idea, which has now been born into Legacy Films.

It is my passion and my honor to tell the stories we get to tell today.
